PERCEPTUAL-MOTOR ASSESSMENT FOR CHILDREN (P-MAC/ESP)

WITH EMOTIONAL/BEHAVIORAL SCREENING PROGRAM #S131

The P-MAC battery is contained in a single case and can be administered in approximately 45 minutes. It consists of selected subtests from the McCarron Assessment of Neuromuscular Development (MAND), Haptic Visual Discrimination Test (HVDT) and Perceptual Memory Task (PMT). P-MAC/ESP includes computer software which provides a Comprehensive Evaluation Report, Educational Analysis Report, Classroom Report and/or Report of Trait Scores, based on an analysis of data in the areas of Intellectual/Academic Achievement, Perceptual/Motor, Emotional/Behavioral and Adaptive Behavior. In addition to the scores obtained from the assessment battery, the P-MAC Computer Program allows you to enter various other data from the student's file such as Wechsler, BVMGT, PPVT-R and academic achievement scores; background information, professional opinions and/or observations in the area of adaptive behavior; and raw scores from the Street Survival Skills Questionnaire (SSSQ) or standard scores from other adaptive behavior measures. Entry of these additional data is optional but will allow for a comprehensive analysis of the student's overall functioning. P-MAC/ESP comes with five age-specific volumes of Guides for Educational Management (GEM) which provide expanded recommendations and functional implications; they are designed for the professional to copy and further individualize with reference to the specific setting and available resources.

The ESP component of P-MAC/ESP enables you to enter data from the Behavioral Checklist for Students (BCS). Computer analysis of these data results in inclusion of emotional/behavioral functions and possible diagnostic categories in the P-MAC Educational Analysis Report and the addition of emotional/behavioral characteristics with recommendations for educational management to the Classroom Report. The ESP is combined with P-MAC except when omission is specifically requested. The ESP is not recommended for children under the age of nine. ESP may be purchased separately as a stand-alone program.

P-MAC/ESP includes the P-MAC Assessment Battery, Computer Program, Manual, P-MAC Score Forms (25), Behavioral Checklist for Students (25) and GEM Volumes (set of 5).
