A focused approach to vocational interest exploration that provides essential occupational information organized to assist the individual in rational decision making. The VIE Computer Program generates 6-10 jobs which match the individual's expressed preferences regarding working conditions. Each job can then be reviewed in the VIE Job Manuals which contain color photographs and descriptive information about job duties, abilities required, training needed, suggestions on where to look for the job, occupational outlook and estimated earnings. The VIE System includes the computer program, Job Manuals (set of 4), an instructor's manual and one package of VIE System Guides (Work Preference Questionnaire & Job Review Forms).
